Rough Cut Presents Pedagogy Roundtable
Please join us for a pedagogy-focused Rough Cut event today at 5:30pm on Zoom. We will be hearing from two speakers, Masha Shpolberg and Camille Thomasson, in an informal roundtable on effective teaching strategies in Film and Media Studies. The event will consist of a 30-minute discussion with Masha and Camille, moderated by Lydia, followed by a 20-30 minute Q&A with attendees. Please come with questions. This pedagogy event is planned in response to the FMS committee’s responses to the Humanities Doctoral Education Report from last April, in which the committee requested that more Rough Cut sessions be devoted to questions of film and media studies pedagogy. This informal conversation will be the first installment of such future events.
