Experimental Film and Media SIG SCMS invites to the first event in a series of talks by contemporary experimental filmmakers and moving image artists.
Please join us virtually on February 16, Friday, 12:00–1:00 pm Eastern Time (9:00–10:00 am Pacific Time).
This series of talks aims to introduce us to a variety of experimental practices and images, to the current transformations of experimental film and media, as well as to the ways we could think about these images.
Our first guests are artists from the UK, Daniel and Clara, with a talk: Places Of The Mind – The Films of Daniel & Clara.
They will focus on the themes of landscape, time, subjectivity, film as diary, and film as dream, sharing the thinking behind their formal/visual explorations as well as some of their influences and inspirations.
