Biography
Jane is a Ph.D. student in Film & Media and Comparative Literature. She studies the post-classical legacy of the elements in their literary and medical contexts to trace the intersecting histories of material perception and commodity forms. Present interests include 19th- and 20th-century alternative healing, sensational literature, and the transnational history of advertising.
