Event description:

Se Dio Vuole (God Willing)
dir. Edoardo Maria Falcone (2015) [87 min]

The life of a bourgeois family in Rome is upset by the announcement that the son, Andrea, wants to enter the priesthood. His father, Tommaso, a cynical athiest, will do whatever it takes to avoid this, even if it involves tailing the charismatic, unconventional Father Pietro—the priest who, he believes, has brainwashed his son. Edoardo Falcone’s first feature film, Se Dio Vuole, is a hilarious and irreverent comedy about family, religion, and finding one’s own place in life.
