Event description:

Io, Arlecchino (I, Harlequin)
dir. Matteo Bini, Giorgio Pasotti (2015) [90 min]

The guest of honor, actor and film maker Giorgio Pasotti, will introduce Io, Arlecchino and lead a Q&A after the 7:00pm screening.

Io, Arlecchino, is a film with many masks: it is a story about a father-son relationship; about a man who is trying to rediscover his authentic self; about the rejection of trash TV; and finally, about the quest for romantic fulfillment. The recent film of Giorgio Pasotti and Matteo Bini addresses all these issues with the light-hearted and delicate tones of a never-over-the-top comedy that is also an act of homage to the Italian tradition of “commedia dell’arte.”

To guarantee a seat for the screenings, all open to the public,  please reserve your free tickets to the 11th Annual Yale Festival of New Italian Cinema here.
